All customers should have a positive travel experience from the moment they arrive at the airport. And for many customers departing from our Miami (MIA) operation, their first interaction is with a team of Skycaps, who help customers check their bags directly from the curb.

The numbers are in, and for January, one employee – Envoy Ground Services (EGS) Skycap Ronald Simplice – managed to successfully check an impressive 2,761 bags. “This is an amazing amount of bags for just one month,” said MIA Airport Services Manager, Eric Anderson. “Each bag represents a customer interaction – and Ronald’s been doing a fantastic job greeting customers and providing great service to everyone traveling through MIA.”
