Envoy hosts WMU Women In Aviation chapter

Last weekend, the Envoy Pilot Recruitment Outreach Team flew a group of ten aviation students from Western Michigan University’s Women In Aviation chapter to DFW to tour Envoy’s Headquarters and the American Airlines Flight Academy.

On Saturday, the students got a behind-the-scenes look at crew scheduling and dispatch during a visit to Envoy’s Systems Operations Control (SOC). Students also had to opportunity to see the new Envoy Conference and Training Center, as well as the American Airlines Flight Academy.

WMU students from the WAI chapter tour the American Airlines Training CenterLeading the tour was Envoy Recruiter and WMU Alum, Elizabeth Bogdan. Liz formerly served as the Vice President of the Women in Aviation Chapter during her time at WMU.

“I love working for a company that supports student organizations like these and gives them opportunities to travel and learn more about the industry,” said Liz. “I hope to see some of these students working for Envoy in the future!”
